Newmarket Garden Tour

On Saturday, June 25, Newmarket, NH, sponsored their First Annual Garden Tour which included 12 residential gardens and 4 public gardens.

Here are a few photos from that tour.

Besides applauding the gardening efforts of so many creative people, I learned something about Newmarket. It is hilly and rocky, but the gardeners have adapted and created some very nice gardens.

If you missed the tour this year, check it out next year. Happy gardening!

Two things stand out to me: muscle and artistry. Ain’t no way these beautiful spots happen without lots of both. That clematis is a wonder, especially right there next to the white trim.

Hopefully for those of us who had to miss it, the event will be repeated next year. One can only imagine how much work goes into organizing it! Beautiful! Thanks.
