NH Master Gardeners Offer Free Seed Program for School and Youth Gardens

Over the last several months a dedicated group of Master Gardeners has been working to develop a new Free Seed Program for school and youth gardens across New Hampshire. We are pleased to announce that we are currently accepting and distributing orders.

Master Gardeners have been collecting seed packets from a multitude of local and national seed sources, and currently have stockpiled an inventory of nearly 2000 packets of vegetable, flower and herb seeds.  We would consider it a great success if we could distribute all of our seeds in 2017, and look forward to expanding our offerings going forward.

Our current need is for your assistance in spreading the word about this program to any of your contacts involved with school and youth gardens.  This could be other Master Gardeners, camp counselors, community gardeners, teachers, organizations with a gardening component, etc.  The more people that know about this the better.

If you are aware of someone in your community who could benefit from this service, please pass along our attached order form.  We are currently limiting orders to 15 packets of seed with hopes of serving as many gardens as possible.  We plan to expand to offer even more next year.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
