Woodman Museum Project

WoodmanThe Woodman Museum received a grant to install a  garden featuring plants that have medicinal and industrial uses.

The area has been rototilled, granite benches set, and plants have been chosen and vetted by experts at Strafford County Cooperative Extension  and Strawberry Banke.

The Woodman Museum Centennial celebration and fundraiser is on July 23, 2016. The long-term goal is to create an accessible Learning Lab where state-of-the-art technology will bring the Wonders of the Woodman Museum to everyone including those who may not be able to access the exhibitions on the upper floors of the National Historic Register homes.

We are ready to plant but need some help. Work days are July 19th & 20th  9-12,  12-3 shifts both days.  Refreshments to be provided. Interested?
